Paul Banks’ Name Is On The Ticket

The Interpol frontman is launching a solo tour in early November to go along with next month’s release of his second full-length solo album. This time around Paul Banks will be using his own name rather than his former alter ego, Julian Plenti.

The new album, simply titled Banks, is due out Oct. 23 on Matador Records as the follow-up to 2009’s Julian Plenti Is … Skyscraper.

An announcement from Matador notes that Banks will perform with a full band on tour.
