With Tegan and Sara supporting, stops include New York City, Boston, Toronto and Chicago. The last week of 2012 finds The Killers returning to its old Las Vegas stomping grounds for two nights at The Cosmopolitan in advance of the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s New Year’s Eve gig at the same venue. Like RHCP, fans not able to acquire tickets for The Killers’ Vegas shows will be able to watch all the action from outside the building via The Cosmopolitan’s 65-foot LED marquee.

The Killers are doing some promo stops on TV this month, appearing on “The Late Show With David Letterman” Sept. 20; “Good Morning America” Sept. 21; “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Sept. 24 and “Ellen” Sept. 28.

You can also catch the band’s American Express Unstaged gig. Appearing at the Paradise Theatre in The Bronx, N.Y., Sept. 18, the concert will be available on the’ Net in the form of a live stream directed by Werner Herzog. Click here for more details.
