Ne-Yo, Third Eye Blind To Rock For Vets

It’s not often you get to see a rapper, a rock band and a retired U.S. general. That’s what’s happening onboard the U.S.S. Intrepid this week when Ne-Yo and Third Eye Blind perform for the Alliance For Veteran Support in NYC.

The show takes place Sept. 20 at the same place Stephen Colbert held his “StePhest Colbchella ’012: RocktAugustFest,” namely the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. Ne-Yo and Third Eye Blind will perform after General Wesley K. Clark (Ret.) delivers his keynote remarks.

The event brings music and the financial community together to help support several worthwhile efforts benefiting veterans including The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Wall Street Warfighters Foundation, the American Widows Project, Center For Veterans’ Mental Health and the Veteran/Amputee Skin Regeneration Project at John Hopkins Medicine.
