Festivals Headed Downunder

Scott Osburn and Hank Keller of Highland Entertainment are not only expanding the 3-year-old dance festival Lights All Night to three days but also staging it in Australia in the first quarter of 2013. 

 

Their Aussie partner is Sydney-based Chugg Entertainment. The Dallas, Texas, version runs Dec. 29-31 at Fair Park.

 

The Czech Republic’s punk-metal festival Obscene Extreme will stage for the first time in Melbourne in April. The event, which began in 1999, also heads for the first time next year to Mexico and Indonesia.
