Along with Aldean, the first round of performers includes Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson and Little Big Town.

Bentley and Little Big Town are both up for three awards. Bentley is competing for single and song of the year for “Home,” as well as album of the year for his full-length release of the same name. Little Big Town is nominated for single and music video of the year for “Pontoon” and vocal group of the year.

After winning musical event last year for her “Don’t You Wanna Stay” duet with Aldean, Clarkson earned her first individual CMA nomination for female vocalist of the year.

Underwood and Paisley each received one nomination. She’s up for female vocalist and he’s vying for entertainer of the year.
