Pretty Women, Or Just Fair?

The New Mexico State Fair wrapped up on Sept. 23, which is probably good news for the oldest of professions.

During the fair, police made 85 arrests related to prostitution, nearly double the number of arrests related to drugs.

Authorities say the crackdown happens every year during the fair to help provide a safe environment for fairgoers and residents, and the area usually sees an influx of criminal activity during the fair.
