‘Celebration Day’ To Open In Four Countries
The film depicting Led Zeppelin’s 2007 reunion concert at The O2 London will premiere in four countries – England, Germany, Japan and the U.S.A.
“Celebration Day” will make its U.S. debut in New York City at the historic Ziegfeld Theater Oct. 9. Just before the film, Led Zeppelin members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and Jason Bonham will hold a press conference at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, talking up the film while at the same time ignoring reporters’ questions about a Led Zeppelin reunion tour.
“Celebration Day” comes home to England when the film has its U.K. premiere at London’s Hammersmith Odeon Oct. 12. Plant, Page and Jones are expected to attend.
Led Zeppelin’s “Celebration Day” will have premieres in Germany and Japan with Berlin hosting the film Oct. 15 and Tokyo Oct. 16. Expect Jones to attend the Berlin screening and Page to appear in Tokyo.
