The “Sunshine Blues Festival” arrives with an economically friendly price of $49 for all general admission tickets. Also on the bill are Walter Trout, Sonny Landreth, Allman Brothers drummer Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, The Wood Brothers, Matt Schofield, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Bobby Lee Rodgers, Joe Louis Walker, Sean Chambers and Dr. John.

Stops for the Live Nation tour are Fort Myers at Centennial Park Jan. 18; Boca Raton at Mizner Park Amphitheater Jan. 19 and Saint Petersburg’s Vinoy Park Jan. 20.

“The blues is where it all began for modern music in America,” said Live Nation Florida president Neil Jacobsen. “Putting this show together has been a labor of love and we are very excited to bring a world class blues festival to Florida as an annual event.”
