Jam Theatricals and SMG have inked a deal with the 1,672-capacity National Theatre in Washington, D.C., to expand the facility’s programming.

Under the agreement Jam and SMG will provide booking, venue management and operational support, advertising, marketing and promotional services.

The National Theatre opened in 1895 and has hosted Broadway shows such as “Hello Dolly!” “Showboat” and “West Side Story” as well as top stars including George C. Scott, Will Rogers, Helen Hayes, James Earl Jones and Sting.
