Phish will jam the year away with another New Year’s Eve residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The shows are scheduled Dec. 28-31.

Trey Anastasio & Co. spent New Years Eve 2011 as well as the last nights of 2010 at the Garden. In total, the band has played 23 shows to date at the venue. This year will be different because for the first time ever, the floor will be general admission.

An online ticket request period is going on now through Monday, Oct. 15 at 12 p.m. Eastern Time at tickets.phish.com.

The general public onsale begins Saturday, Oct. 20 at 12 p.m. ET.

And if you’re looking for a place to stay in the Big Apple, Phish’s website says that CID Entertainment “has secured attractive rates for fans at hotels around the city for this run.”
