IMC and Village Sounds have brought in Michael Chugg as partner in Sydney’s Homebake festival.

Homebake, now in its 16th year and held over a day in December, showcases Australian music, films and comedy to crowds of 16,000.

“Right now in the live market our local acts are doing as strong business, in some cases even better, than some international acts – so it’s a great time to get involved,” Chugg said. “There is so much love for this festival and we just can’t wait.” The three worked together on major charity initiatives including Wave Aid, Live Earth and Sound Relief.

Chugg and IMC also teamed up Elton John and his Australian remix collaborators Pnau at the Sydney Entertainment Centre Nov 16.
