Evenpro Lands T4F Vet

Evenpro and Brazilian entertainment company XYZ Live have a new addition in veteran South American concert promoter Jose Muniz.

Muniz formed Mercury Concerts in Brazil in 1990 before selling to OCESA / CIE 10 years later and joining Time for Fun as senior VP.

 
Muniz said part of the decision to make the transistion was XYZ Live’s planned growth. Evenpro has equity in XYZ Live in Brazil and together they cover Latin America excluding Mexico. Last year, they generated more than 1.5 million tickets sold and $115 million in gross income, according to a statement.
 
“It is an honor to have a seasoned professional like Jose Muniz onboard as partner in Evenpro Group and as part of our XYZ Live team in our Brazil operations,” Evenpro’s Phil Rodriguez said. “On a personal level, it is a joy for me as I’ve had a friendship with Jose that dates back to 1983.”
 
Muniz will help expand XYZ Live’s presence in Brazil and Evenpro’s operations in Latin America and he’s apparently already hard at work. KISS is slated to perform several concerts in Brazil for the companies.
