Sioux Stay Put

American Indian imagery will stay put at The University of North Dakota’s Ralph Engelstad Arena in Bismarck, N.D., where a state Board of Education order had threatened thousands of Indian-head logos that decorate the venue.

While the board recently asked the school to drop its Fighting Sioux nickname, the National Collegiate Athletic Association approved a plan that will allow the logos to stick around.
