Better Than Parking Fees

Parking lots near the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Ken., will accept toiletry item donations in place of parking fees during an Oct. 14 concert featuring Eric Church.

The donations will benefit the city’s Center for Women and Families as part of Domestic Violence Awareness month.

Donations of 10 items or about $10 worth of personal grooming items for women and children and cleaning supplies are needed.
