C3, GEO Partner In Brazil

C3 Presents is expanding its Brazilian footprint after a successful Lollapalooza by partnering with Globo Organizations’ GEO for more events in the South American country, the companies announced Oct. 13 during the Austin City Limits Music Festival.

They will partner on all festivals, tours and special projects in Brazil, develop new properties in the market and collaborate on the Xxxperience electronic music festival.

“This is a natural progression in our business relationship with GEO,” C3 partner Charlie Walker said. “Our booking team looks forward to providing the best entertainment to the Brazilian market while keeping up with the great local acts to complement any festival or tour experience.”

 
GEO chief exec Leo Ganem added, “The partnership between GEO and C3 will reinforce our successful relationship, which was started at Lollapalooza Brazil 2012 and our focus is growing up the events, festival and shows with the best content of music offered by C3.”
 
Lollapalooza Brazil 2013 will take over Sao Paolo in March, headlined by Pearl JamThe Black KeysDeadmau5The Killers and Queens of the Stone Age. The same artists will head to Santiago, Chile, in April for a second South American Lolla gig. The brand also expands to Tel Aviv, Israel, in August.
