Costello Returns For Winery Shows

Aussie dates: Elvis Costello & The Imposters return for five A Day On The Green winery shows (Jan. 26 to Feb. 6) and two club dates (Jan. 25 and Jan. 30).

The winery dates, through Roundhouse Entertainment, will see Costello headlining a five-hour show with Aussie acts Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons, The Sunnyboys, Tex Perkins & The Dark Horses, and former Sports frontman Stephen Cummings.

The two clubs shows, in Sydney and Melbourne through Frontier Touring, will debut his “Spectacular Spinning Songbook” show feature in Australia.

MxPx is bringing its 20th anniversary celebrations with five club dates March 6-10 through Metropolis Touring, Tombowler and A Thousand Hills Present.

African bluesman and activist Boubacar Traoré (Aka Kar Kar) of Mali will see his first glimpse of Australia when he does six festival and club appearances Nov. 17-23 through Top Shelf.

Acclaimed new Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar makes his Aussie debut with four club dates Dec. 13-16 booked by Niche Productions.

Gaynor Crawford Presents is bringing back Kentucky-based cello-playing soul-folkster Ben Sollee, this time as a duo with percussionist Jordon Ellis. Their eleven festival and club appearances run Dec. 30 to Jan. 16.
