‘Live In The Vineyard’ Is Ocean Bound

Five For Fighting and Marc Broussard are just two of the artists onboard for “Live In The Vineyard At Sea,” a seven-day Caribbean cruise focused on wine, food and music. And, best of all, it’s open to the public.

Known for its private events in Napa, Calif.nn, where connoisseurs of fine wines, foods and music mingle with chefs, vintners and musicians, admission to a “Live In the Vineyard” event is usually achieved by winning a contest via the organizers’ website or participating radio stations.

Scheduled for Nov. 9-16, 2013, the first “Live In The Vineyard At Sea,” ocean cruise is open to everyone and has a musical lineup that includes Green River Ordinance, Martin Harley and Andy Grammer. Departing Tampa, Fla., onboard Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance Of The Seas, stops include Grand Cayman, Falmouth (Jamaica) and Labadee.

The cruise also features world-class chefs, including Ken Frank from La Toque Restaurant in Napa Valley, who will be curating “specialty” restaurants onboard as well as cooking demos, tastings and more.

Of course, you get wine. Lots of wine. Participating Napa Valley vintners include Silver Oak, Miner Family Vineyard, Whetstone, Trefethen, Peju, Girls In The Vineyard and Nicholson Jones.

“Live In The Vineyard At Sea” will also host special features created through a partnership with Trinchero Napa Valley and Sutter Home.
