Plant, Ringo Heading Back

Robert Plant will headline the March 30 slot of Bluesfest, which runs March 28 to April 1 in Byron Bay, Australia.

Plant was unveiled as part of an announcement that included Roger Hodgson of Supertramp, Jon Anderson of Yes, Status Quo and Madness.

Bluesfest 2013 already confirmed Santana, Jimmy Cliff, Iggy & The Stooges, Ben Harper, Steve Miller Band, Chris Isaak and Wilco.

Lennard Promotions locked in Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band for a five-date stadium run Feb. 11-21 as part of a visit to Japan and New Zealand.

Bryan Adams returns for his first arena rock tour since 2005, with Frontier Touring confirming six shows April 18-24. Last year Adams did a sold-out theatre run, Frontier reported.

German DJ and label owner Michael Mayer does two shows – in Melbourne Nov. 30 and Sydney Dec. 1 – through Future Classics.

San Diego’s In Fear And Faith join The Artery Foundation’s hardcore Movember Mayhem Tour headlined by Melbourne viral success Dream On Dreamer, and includes Perth’s Make Them Suffer and Saviour. The tour takes in 10 club, school and community halls Nov. 22 to Dec. 2.
