Rolling Stones Do It Again

The Rolling Stones did it again last night. The band played a secret gig at the Theatre Mogador in Paris, five days after rocking the city’s tiny Le Trabendo concert hall. In other Stones news, guitarist Ron Wood is apparently getting married again.

They’re calling it a secret gig, but rumors that The Stones would do a private corporate function have been circulating for quite some time. Last night the band did a 12-song set at the 1,800-seater, beginning with “It’s Only Rock ’N’ Roll (But I Like It)” and encoring with “Brown Sugar.” Selections included “Start Me Up,” “All Down The Line,” “Honky Tonk Women,” and “Jumping Jack Flash.”

The band posted the setlist on its official website.

The Rolling Stones first arena dates celebrating the band’s 50th anniversary are at the O2-London Nov. 25&29 and Newark, N.J., at the Prudential Center Dec. 13&15.

In other Stones news, numerous media reports indicate Wood may be prepping for another walk down the aisle.

This time around the 65-year-old’s prospective better half is film producer Sally Humphreys, age 34. According to ITV, the couple dated for six months although they’ve known each other for nine years.

While telling the press about the impending marriage, Humphreys said “The wedding will be very simple … and we haven’t set a date.”

If Humphreys gets Wood to the church on time, it will be the guitarist’s third walk down the aisle. His first marriage was to model Krissy Findlay in 1971. The couple divorced in 1978.
Wood married Jo Karslake in 1985. One of the longer marriages in rockdom, it ended in 2008 when Wood left her for Ekaterina Ivanova, a waitress who was reportedly in her late teens or early 20s at the time.
