Little Big Town’s Big Tornado Tour

Little Big Town has plotted its next trek through North America. Following previously announced U.S. gigs in November and December, the country band will be back on the road in late January for “The Tornado Tour.” Special guests Kacey Musgraves and David Nail are featured on select dates.

The tour is named after Little Big Town’s fifth studio album. Tornado was released in April and debuted at No. 2 on the Nielsen SoundScan Albums Chart.

The fun begins Jan. 31 in Murray, Ky., at the Lovett Auditorium. The last stop of the excursion is May 9 in North Charleston, S.C., at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.

Musgraves, who was one of the finalists on the USA Networks singing competition “Nashville Star” in 2007, will be the tour’s special guest between January 31 through March 3.

Nail is on board for select gigs in March, April and May.

“We’ve been looking forward to announcing this tour for so long and can’t wait to hit the road next year,” Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman said. “It’s going to be so much fun to share more music from this record with our fans and we feel very honored to have Kacey and David opening for us. They’re incredible artists. This new album means so much to us and to be able to showcase all of these songs is a dream come true.”
