Country Music Fest at Anderson Motor Speedway was slated to feature Tracy Lawrence as well as a number of local artists but promoter Robert Blaine Odom reportedly pulled the plug on the Aug. 17 show over severe weather concerns.

Fans who purchased tickets through the speedway were refunded, according to the local WSPA News. Those who purchased through Odom, however, have been left high and dry – so far.

The promoter told the station he’s working to reschedule the show at another venue.

“They will be honored,” Odom said. “And you know, we’re going to make sure that everybody that bought those tickets are notified and we’re going to honor them.

“The Country Music Fest is going to be rescheduled. And for whatever reason if it’s not convenient for the people, that be transportation or something like that, then we’ll consider a refund.”

Tickets for the fest ranged from $25 to $38.
