New Rolling Stones Song: ‘One More Shot’

OK, enough “Doom and Gloom.” It’s time for a listen to The Rolling Stone’s second of two new songs included on the band’s upcoming compilation album. The band posted the tune “One More Shot” on its website today ahead of next weeks’ release of “GRRR!”

“Doom and Gloom” and “One More Shot” were both recorded in Paris with longtime Rolling Stones producer Don Was, the man behind five previous Stones albums including A Bigger Bang and Live Licks. The two new tunes mark the first time Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie have been back in the studio together in seven years.

To celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary, the Stones are releasing the 50-track GRRR! compilation Nov. 13 in the U.S. and Nov. 12 in the rest of the world. A super deluxe edition GRR! greatest hits box set will be available including 80 tracks on four CDs, an exclusive 12×12 print, a bonus CD, 7” vinyl, a hardback book, poster and 5 postcards.

The anniversary festivities continue with two shows at The O2 – London Nov. 25 & 29, followed by two nights in Newark, N.J., at the Prudential Center Dec. 13 & 15.
