McIldowie For Reading
And Leeds

Former MAMA Group Promotions Director Jon McIldowie has replaced Neil Pengelly as the music booker for Reading & Leeds Festivals.

Natasha Haddad, previously a programmer for MAMA Group, has already joined Festival Republic as a replacement for Latitude booker John Dunn.

McIldowie, who spent 12 years with MAMA, previously worked across festivals including Lovebox and Wilderness, as well as co-founding The Great Escape Festival.

“I’ve grown up with Reading and Leeds and look forward to joining the team at Festival Republic to play a part in the next chapter of one of the world’s most important live music events,” he said of his new appointment.

Festival Republic chief Melvin Benn said it’s an exciting time for the festivals, with a fresh look for next year, and that he “can’t wait to start working with McIldowie to ensure both Reading and Leeds remain the highlight of the festival season for many years to come.”
