Sigur Rós Steps Up

Announcing its biggest North American tour ever, Icelandic band Sigur Rós will venture out playing theatres and arenas in 2013. Stops include Boston, Montreal, Denver, Houston and San Francisco as well as a night headlining New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

The band has a new song for you. Sigur Rós debuted “Brennisteinn” at this year’s Iceland Airwaves Festival.

How is Sigur Rós’ biggest North American outing shaping up? The band is aiming high this time around as it targets arenas in selected markets such as Boston’s Agganis Arena and the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va.
