Supported by a seven-piece band, Owens’ first solo tour is in support of Lysandre, an album that’s actually a complete narrative from start to finish. Arriving Jan. 15 on Fat Possum in the U.S. and on Turnstile globally, Lysandre was inspired by the events on the Girls’ first tour.

Or, as Owens has described it, “A coming of age story, a road trip story, a love story.”

Owens begins his journey at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall Jan. 15 and wraps in Washington, D.C., at the 9:30 Club Jan. 27. Stops in between include Toronto, Boston, and Philadelphia as well as two nights in New York City.
