Nicholson joins the A-list roster appearing at the Dolby Theatre Dec. 4 that also includes Alicia Keys, Amy Grant, Herb Alpert, John Legend, Katy Perry, Lani Hall and Vince Gill. Entertainers newly added to the evening’s festivities are singer Darlene Love and Canadian jazzy lady Nikki Yanofsky.

Produced by music industry vet Lou Adler and Kevin Duncan, proceeds will benefit Paul Newman’s The Painted Turtle Camp, a part of The SeriousFun Children’s Network. SeriousFun is a global community of camps and programs founded by Newman to help kids facing serious illnesses through year-round camps and hospital outreach programs.

Sure, there are plenty of music-based charity events taking place during the holidays, all of them helping very good causes. But this one is the only one with Jack.

“Jack has always been a tremendous supporter of all our events to benefit The Painted Turtle Camp, and we are happy to have him back for what is sure to be another magical evening,” Adler said. “Adding the amazing talent of Darlene and Nikki to the already spectacular lineup is sure to nicely round out the evening of legendary and contemporary superstars performing to benefit this wonderful cause.”
