Marley Family Dispute Settled

A lawsuit filed by the late Bob Marley s widow, Rita, and their children against Marley’s half-brother, Richard Booker, for copyright and trademark infringement was settled mid-November in a Florida federal court.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

Marley sued Booker and affiliated companies last December for using the reggae legend’s name and image to promote a Florida music festival, a restaurant in Jamaica and other business ventures without a licensing agreement.
