Sentencing In Fake Claim Case

A woman who pleaded guilty in August to forgery and perjury charges for trying to collect money from a relief fund for victims of the Indiana State Fair rigging collapse has been sentenced to three years of work release.

Stephanie Murry’s sentence also includes one year of probation.

Murry and her aunt, Sandra Hurn, submitted claims for relief funds related to the canceled Sugarland concert, but authorities said neither woman was at the show.

Hurn was reportedly sentenced to two years home detention and two years of probation.
