Williams’ latest stint in the news comes after he’s been arrested, ejected from hotels and sued by fans. Clearly life ain’t all peaches and cream for the funny man who appeared as Money Mike in “Friday After Next.”

Williams made his retirement comments while being interviewed by a KOMO News photographer. The photographer evidently spoke with Williams while the comedian was being ejected from a Seattle hotel.

The hotel was reportedly giving Williams the ol’ heave-ho after he allegedly argued with customers and threatened the manager with a pool cue, reports KOMO News, which says the comedian was booked into the local county jail Sunday evening for “investigation of harassment, assault and obstructing police.”

But he wasn’t in jail long. Gangsta rap impresario Suge Knight bailed him out, according to TMZ.

But back to Williams’ retirement.

The comedian said he was going to make a $301,000 offer for the Washington State Ferry Rhododendron so that his wife and kids have a place to stay until his court date scheduled for Dec. 6.

“If they will accept our bid … I will take me and my whole staff on that boat because I still have a court date four days from now and can’t leave and I’ve been kicked out of four hotels in two days and I’ve been arrested by three different sets of officers four different times detained by two sets of officers,” Williams said.

“I can stay there and my family can be there and my dogs can be there and my whole staff can be there until we get done suing Seattle for this $50 million that I want for crippling my reputation as a father and a black man and as a taxpaying citizen and as a person who is not a convicted felon.”

After telling the photographer that he and his family like to visit Seattle so that they can “get away,” Williams started talking about retirement, saying he was originally planning on dropping that particular bombshell while in the offices of his booking agency or Live Nation.

“I’m just gonna go ahead and announce my retirement from standup, I’m kinda done,” Williams said. “I’ve discussed this with my kids, I wasn’t gonna do it in the middle of a Seattle street, I was going to go to Los Angeles and do it in the offices of ICM or Live Nation.”

Williams’ Seattle arrest and retirement announcement are just the latest incidents following a series of problems for the comedian.

A fan has filed a class-action suit on behalf of everyone who attended Williams’ Oakland, Calif., gig Nov. 16, that ended with him walking off the stage only ten minutes into his act. During that time, he had a war of words with a heckler, undressed himself and tried to mix it up with three audience members, according to the lawsuit.

The abbreviated performance took place only two days after Williams had been arrested in Oakland for allegedly hitting a man with a bottle.

Then there’s Williams’ Nov. 25 Sacramento adventure where police reportedly chased Williams while the comedian was driving a three-wheeled motorcycle. According to TMZ, police attempted to pull Williams over after seeing him drive the vehicle up onto a sidewalk. At one point during the chase, Williams is said to have yelled, “I’m not going to stop!”

Later that same day, Williams allegedly slapped a Target employee over, well, something. You’ll just have to watch the video.
