Slightly Stoopid’s ‘420 Hot Box’

There are some shows you can count on watching while being surrounded in a cloud of smoke. Slightly Stoopid’s upcoming gig with Cypress Hill definitely falls in that category. After all, the acts are celebrating the passage of Colorado Amendment 64.

In November voters approved the amendment, which legalizes the personal use and regulation of marijuana for people 21 years of age or older. According to the Associated Press, the law is set to take effect by Jan. 5.

Penn’s Landing, Philadelphia, Pa.

Slightly Stoopid and Cyrpress Hill are marking this historic occasion by playing Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Morrison, Colo. The show, which has been dubbed “Slightly Stoopid’s 420 Hot Box”, is scheduled, of course, on April 20.

Presale tickets to “the world’s biggest weed party” are available now through the band’s website. The show features special guest Tribal Seeds.

VIP packages include a limited edition 18×24 poster, a pre-show meet & greet with Slightly Stoopid and seating in a designated VIP area.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Dec. 8.
