Really Useful Promotes Kerry Comerford
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group entertainment company promoted Kerry Comerford to vice president of its Asia Pacific operations covering Australia and the Pacific Rim.
Sydney-born Comerford worked in Australian theatrical companies and festivals before joining RUG in 1995 as executive producer. She became general manager in 2001, overseeing the first Chinese and Korean productions of “Cats.”
Her latest promotion followed the resignation of Tim McFarlane, its managing director in the Asia Pacific, effective March 31.
McFarlane, who has 18 years with RUG, is new CEO, Asia Pacific, for Britain’s Ambassador Theatre Group.
