Owen Orford Joins
New World Artists

New World Artists agency tapped veteran booking agent Owen Orford as managing agent.

NWA is home to Silverchair, multi-platinum rap act 360, rock bands The Living End, and Grinspoon and electronic duo Sneaky Sound System.

A practitioner of long-term artist development, Orford set up Trading Post Agency/TPA in the 1980s with a client list including Midnight Oil, Silverchair, Hoodoo Gurus, Savage Garden and Icehouse.

In January, New World Artists will also bring in Tom Johanessen to run its regional touring. Four years ago he began his own Fletch agency, aged 17.
