Airborne Toxic Event Announces Spring Dates

The PR folks for Airborne Toxic Event boast that the guys have played more than 350 gigs in support of their 2008 debut. Now the indie rockers are ready for more touring, with the first leg of their 2013 U.S. spring tour beginning in January.

The excursion marks the band’s first dates since the Los Angeles-based band began recording its as-yet-untitled third full-length.

This week Airborne Toxic Event announced that the new album is done and will be released in the spring.

“It’s been strange being away,” the band wrote on its website. “We’ve missed you. We’ve missed that feeling of jumping off an amp, narrowly avoiding a puddle of beer, and then realizing as we hit the ground that we are not in fact in Detroit, but Minneapolis.”

The 2013 schedule includes two previously announced gigs at New York City’s Website Hall Jan. 15-16. Airborne Toxic Event will also play London Feb. 28.
