Winterman & Goldstein Inducted

Sydney-based trio Andy Kelly, Andy Cassell and Pete Lusty – who run Winterman & Goldstein management and Ivy League Records – were inducted Dec. 7 into the MusicAct Annual Music Awards Hall of Fame.

The inaugural event, held at Canberra’s Albert Hall, was organized by MusicAct to increase the profile of music in Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory.

Cassell and Lusty started in Canberra before moving to Sydney in 1997 where they became involved in bands including Jet,  The VinesLanie LaneAlpineDeep Sea Arcade and The Mess Hall.

“We gave the companies fancy names so people would think we were a big corporation,” Kelly told Pollstar. “Instead we worked in a tiny dump, the three of us sharing a telephone, and living on two-minute noodles.”
