Flyleaf & Drowning Pool Announce Winter Run
The tour scheduled to launch in February will introduce Flyleaf fans to the band’s new singer, Kristen May, and will be the first journey in support of the group’s new album, New Horizons, the band’s last work to feature vocalist Lacy Sturm (Mosley).
“We’re excited for everyone to experience Kristen May’s powerful and inspiring voice as she joins us on stage,” Flyleaf guitarist Sameer Bhattacharya said.
Drowning Pool also has a new voice. Last summer the band announced the arrival of Jasen Moreno from Suicide Hook. Moreno replaces Ryan McCombs who departed the band in 2011.
With a new album scheduled for a 2013 release, Drowning Pool already has a couple of songs in play, the single “Saturday Night” and the track “One Finger And A Fist” with the latter having a WWE Slammy Awards debut earlier this weeks. If you move fast enough, you just might be able to download the track for free from the band’s website.
