The Black Crowes’ Latest Flight Plan

Announcing the first set of dates for the “Lay Down With Number 13” world tour, The Black Crowes designate March for the United Kingdom and April for the U.S.A. Ticket sales begin in January.

The band has been teasing this tour along with other good things via a 13-day countdown on its website countdown dubbed “Merry Crowesmas” that began Dec. 13.

There’s also something for folks who favor turntables over CDs. The Black Crowes’ vinyl release of the live collection Wiser For The Time will be released March 19.

The routing contains several two-night stands with The Black Crowes playing multiple nights in London, Port Chester, N.Y., New York City, Washington, D.C., Chicago and Nashville.

Here’s the plan:

March 24 – Manchester, Manchester Academy
March 25 – Birmingham, O2 Academy Birmingham
