Houston rapper Lil’ Flip is out on bond after spending a night in the DeSoto Parish jail in Louisiana, KSLA-TV reports.

The 31-year-old rapper, whose real name is Wesley Eric Weston, was arrested on Dec. 26 after deputies pulled him over for speeding on Interstate 49 and they allegedly found marijuana and a semiautomatic weapon in his possession.

The DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office says deputies found in the car a Bushmaster AR-15, the same type of assault rifle that was either used or in the possession of the gunman in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Connecticut, the shooting that killed two firefighters in Webster, N.Y., and the theater shooting that left 12 dead in Aurora, Colo.

Weston was freed after posting a $35,300 bond.
