Eagles And Aguilera Shift

While Irving Azoff has transitioned out of his role as chairman of Live Nation, two of his management clients have made transitions as well.

Pollstar confirms that Eagles and Christine Aguilera – two of Azoff’s management clients – are now with CAA. Eagles was a longtime client of William Morris Endeavor’s Peter Grosslight, who has had a long and friendly relationship with Azoff, and they have been known to tee up a few rounds together.

Azoff, who rang in the New Year vacationing in Mexico with his family and that of Don Henley, announced Dec. 31 that he has resigned from Live Nation and from his top spot at Front Line Management. He said Front Line clients such as Eagles, Aguilera and Steely Dan would travel with him to azoffmusic Management.

Azoff’s announcement may still be fresh, but sources say Eagles and Xtina have been on CAA’s roster for more than a month. Irving’s son Jeffrey Azoff joined CAA as an agent in early October.
