Bob Costas To Host ‘Garden Of Laughs’

Broadcaster Bob Costas is up to some serious funny business. The mega-Emmy Award winner has been tapped to host the “Garden Of Laughs” benefit, set for Jan. 26 at The Theater At Madison Square Garden in NYC.

With 24 Emmys to his credit, Costas is the only person to receive the winged-woman statuettes for news, sports and entertainment. Named “Sportscaster Of The Year” a record eight times by the National Sportswriters and Sportscaster Association, Costas is known for interviewing people from all different walks of life.

Presented by Chase and benefiting the Garden Of Dreams Foundation’s efforts to positively impact the lives of children facing obstacles, the “Garden Of Laughs” will feature performances by some of the biggest names in laugh-making, including Adam Ferrara, Darrell Hammond, Robert Klein, Brian Regan, Ray Romano and Wanda Sykes while various figures from entertainment and sports serve as presenters.

“I am honored to host ‘Garden Of Laughs’ and support the significant work of the Garden Of Dreams Foundation,” Costas said. “It will be a very entertaining event for an important and worthy cause. I’m truly looking forward to being at The Garden for this special night.”
