Oregon Rave Lawsuit Settled
Officials in Marion Country, Oregon, have reached settlements with most of the people involved with producing Splash Bash 2 July 6-8 in Jefferson, which drew numerous complaints from neighbors and a civil lawsuit.
Marion County Sheriff’s deputies and Oregon State Troopers handled reports related to the outdoor rave including parking problems, traffic congestion, excessively loud music and out-of-control festivalgoers.
Property owners reportedly didn’t have a mass gathering permit for the event as well as violated the county’s noise ordinance.
Fines from about $750 up to about $6,000 were levied on all parties involved in putting on the event.
