The acoustic show is scheduled for the band’s second of two nights at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.  Scheduled to play the famed venue April 20-21, the 21st  will feature the Crowes unplugging their instruments for something a bit more intimate.

Of course, there’s an album to go with the tour. The live Wiser For The Time arrives March 19 on Silver Arrow/Megaforce records.  Made up of four vinyl albums, the package contains 26 songs – 15 acoustic and 11 electric – from the band’s fall 2010 New York City performances.

“The Black Crowes road has come calling again for us,” Chris Robinson said.  “Our music is a living, breathing thing, and we go wherever it takes us.  In a world of rock and roll tourists, we look forward to seeing our friends and loyal travelers who will join us and be a part of the shows.  The musical horizon beckons.”
