Major Lazer To ‘Free The Universe’

Diplo’s Major Lazer heads out in March to “Free The Universe” with a global tour beginning in Toronto next month with gigs scheduled all the way through mid-May.  Dragonet appears on some dates, Angel Haze and Lunice on others.

Coming off a year included snagging producer of the year Grammy noms for working on albums for No Doubt, Usher, Snoop Lion and others, Diplo and The Major are definitely sitting on top of the ol’ planet.  Plus, the release of “Get Free” featuring The Dirty Projectors’ Amber Coffman has already gone gold in Belgium and Holland.

Now the cartoon Jamaican renegade is out to conquer the globe, launching the tour a few days after the Free The Universe album lands in stores Feb. 19.
