Rockin’ Don Leaving Caesars

Caesars Entertainment exec Don Marrandino, AKA Rockin’ Don, is leaving the company to pursue other interests.

He served as president of Caesars’ eastern division for three years, where he oversaw Caesars Atlantic City, Bally’s Atlantic City, Showboat Casino Hotel and Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City.

Marrandino, who had strong connections with artists including Sammy Hagar and Toby Keith, built a reputation for delivering top acts to the city, including Guns N’ RosesVan Halen and Madonna most recently.

Pending regulatory approval, Kevin Ortzman will take over as GM for Caesars properties in Atlantic City, although John Smith would remain GM of Harrah’s.
