Tom Keifer Takes The Solo Road
But you’ll have to wait a while for the complete album. While “The Flower Song” will arrive at your local radio station Feb. 4, The Way Life Goes won’t drop until April 30 via Merovee Records. However, the album’s second single, “Solid Ground,” ships to radio March 11.
What can fans expect from Kiefer, whose songs laid down the bedrock for Cinderella’s blues-rock stylings? Word is The Way Life Goes includes Kiefer’s blues roots as well as drawing from the rock and country music that inspired the singer/songwriter/guitarist.
The album is also being described as an “introspective look” at the last 15 years in Kiefer’s life, including the battles he faced after doctors said his partially paralyzed left vocal cord meant he’d never be able to sing again.
But Kiefer proved them wrong by retraining himself on how to sing. Now he has his own tour and a soon-to-be released solo effort.
