The lineup also features John Fogerty, Jessy Greene, Chris Goss, The Wallflowers’ Rami Jaffee, Alain Johannes, Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen, Rick Springfield, Fear’s Lee Ving and Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave.

Before closing in 2011, the studio was used by acts including Nirvana, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Cheap Trick, Guns N’ Roses, Nine Inch Nails, Metallica and Rage Against The Machine. Grohl not only directed the film, but he also purchased Sound City’s custom-built Neve 8028 recording console.
