The rest of the Foo Fighters will be joining Grohl as part of the Sound City Players – Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear. This will also be another opportunity for Grohl and Smear to reunite with former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic.

The lineup also features John Fogerty, Jessy Greene, Chris Goss, The Wallflowers’ Rami Jaffee, Alain Johannes, Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen, Rick Springfield, Fear’s Lee Ving and Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave.
