Adelaide Festivals Add $69M

Adelaide’s 10 major arts festivals jointly contributed $62.9 million to South Australia’s economy last year and drew 2.82 million people, according to an economic impact study.

The 10 include the Adelaide Festival and Fringe and the Cabaret, Film, International Guitar, SALA, WOMADelaide, OzAsia, Feast and Come Out festivals.

Festivals Adelaide executive officer Tory McBride said these continued to show strong results despite tough economic times, with more than 590,000 tickets sold.
