Pollstar is proud to announce that “MadTV” veteran Michael McDonald will be the host for the 24th Annual Pollstar Awards on Feb. 7 at Club Nokia.

McDonald is known for his many “MadTV” characters like the adult-child Stuart and the Depressed Persian Tow Truck Driver, but also for his dozens of impressions from Simon Cowell and Chris Martin to Tommy Lee and Ozzy Osbourne  along with Larry David and Eddie Vedder.

McDonald performed on 13 of the 14 seasons of “MadTV,” and was a contributing writer and director.  He’s also directed episodes of “Scrubs” and has had roles in all three Austin Powers movies.  His Showtime special, “Michael McDonald: Model Citizen,” premiered in 2010.

Most recently, in addition to writing scripts for “Cougar Town,” McDonald has been touring his part standup comedian, part one-man show.

He is a very funny guy who also has the distinction of doing one of the most memorable death scenes ever filmed in the movie classic “Leprechaun 2.”
