Fairly VIP

The Illinois State Fair is bucking tradition by offering a VIP pass for tickets to an Aug. 14 Toby Keith concert at the fair’s Grandstand track.

VIPit tickets will spare fans from waiting in line all day to get a premier spot at the concert. Holders will be guaranteed a prime viewing location close to the stage and will be permitted to enter the pit 30 minutes prior to the opening of the GA gates.

Only 1,000 VIP passes will be available for $65 when tickets go on sale Feb. 9. GA tickets will cost $50.
