To Enlist Murray

Katherine Jackson is looking for help from Conrad Murray – the doctor serving time for killing Michael Jackson – in her wrongful death suit against AEG, according to TMZ.

The Jackson family matriarch has reportedly filed a subpoena in an attempt to get Murray to explain the agreement between AEG and himself to serve as Michael’s personal physician – one that AEG says he never signed.

According to TMZ, she wants Murray to say AEG masterminded the plan to bring him on board. But Murray’s lawyers are fighting the subpoena on technical grounds.

It’s a sticky wicket, to be sure. Murray’s already been convicted in MJ’s death, but may not be of much help as a hostile witness for Katherine in her effort to get into the deeper pockets of AEG.
