Modestep Evolving This Spring
Before the London-based band became a live act, brothers Josh and Tony Friend launched Modestep Radio in 2008 to highlight the productions and dubstep tracks that they were digging. They started writing their own songs in 2010 and the next year were joined by Matt Curtis on drums and Nick Tsang on lead guitar. Josh handles vocals and keyboards while Tony is on decks and guitar.
After making appearances all over the globe including Electric Daisy Carnival, Modestep has booked its first North American headline tour. The group’s debut album, Evolution Theory, is due out digitally on Feb. 12, followed by the physical release March 5.
