Modestep Evolving This Spring

Forget dubstep. What you want to listen to is Modestep. Just kidding, Modestep is a dubstep/electronic rock band so you’ll get some of that too. Or as the group describes itself on its Facebook page –  “four morons who make loud noises, live.”

Before the London-based band became a live act, brothers Josh and Tony Friend launched Modestep Radio in 2008 to highlight the productions and dubstep tracks that they were digging. They started writing their own songs in 2010 and the next year were joined by Matt Curtis on drums and Nick Tsang on lead guitar. Josh handles vocals and keyboards while Tony is on decks and guitar.
